Troy Bilt Sickle Bar Replacement Thumb Latch

I gave these a definite five star rating, and they work very well. Actually they are the only replacements on the market available for Troy Bilt Part # 1768429 There have been others yes who have tried to fabricate this part, I bought some even, but this is by far the best one available. Again they work excellent, and a good job was done fabricating them. The only thing as the customer I would and have added to make them fit better for myself, is that the original plastic part was a full 1/8 inch thicker than this replacement, therefore I would suggest to use 2 washers of same or dual size to make up the difference, this will allow a more secure (less sloppy fit) on its mounting giving it a more secure feel of working. Also extra what I did was to drill a 1/8'' hole in the right and left sides on the new part at the bottom (imagined water level bottom) of the micro switch compartment...I say that because the bottom section of the new one is enclosed and if you leave the machine
