Tecumseh Brake Shaft part# 776220 is 8-1/4" long. The ends of the shaft have a diameter of 5/8". The largest diameter of this shaft is 1-1/8" and there is also a section with a 1" diameter. There is a collar machined into the center of the shaft. There are also two 3/16" grooves in the ends of the shaft for retaining rings. We hope that our picture adds some clarity to the dimensions of this part that a verbal description cannot.
